walking home

Walking home from work I can't help but notice the patterns of light that cross my path home. In my neighborhood, typically the streets are dark giving me a sense of a rush to get home , and then I pass the lights emitting from the neighboring houses that gives me a sense of nostalgia....but then the feeling passes as I walk under the dim street lamps glowing a warm orange red that light my path the rest of the way home.
