Sunrise

The other day I woke up with a few friends of mine and caught the glimpse of an orange county sunrise. As the sun slowly rose, It bleeded out light from all parts of the sky. As if the sun was leaking out onto the morning sky, strechting out to every part of the darkened world. It really helped me put into perspective the idea of fading in and out of cues. The intensity of the sunlight, the mood and shape that it creatd on the landscape of the beach around us, and really helped to create this feeling inside each one of us that was there. It was a moment where all of us just looked at each other and sighed, taking in the cool breeze of the ocean breeze and using our sense of sight to connect with our emotion. This is what lighting creates, as you stated earlier in class, it enhances the emotional state that the actor is exhuting. It makes the audience aware of the situation, but targets their attention to a particular moment in emotion or time and truly makes that their main focal point.
