Cloudy Day

Sunday morning when I was leaving my apartment I was surprised at how bright the light was.  The sky was grey and the sun was covered in clouds, but the light that was shining out was so bright that it made me squint and cover my eyes.  Even though the rain had burned off, the sky was still dark, but the power of the light was amazing.  The clouds worked to diffuse the light, but it was interesting how bright something can be despite it's dull color.  The sheer brightness of the sky made me forget about how bad the weather looked.  It's amazing how different the intensity of the light can make something feel despite it's color.
