Off the Wall

I recently purchased a string of lights to help bring a little more light and life to my room. They trace the outline of the window in my room. They each resemble a bird's nest and have a lot of texture to them. What I didn't anticipate was how interesting the shadowing would be due to these nesty shades. The lines spew out looking like barren tree branches contrasting with the soft, simple light that is inside. Needless to say, I do like having these lights on, but one's imagination could run wild with this kind of shadowing. Therefore, I turn them off before I go to bed.
